Superintendent Helen Wilson has served for the last 19 years as a police officer with Cleveland Police and is the District Commander for Hartlepool.
Superintendent Wilson brings a wealth of experience to the district having worked in many roles within the police and intends to use these experiences and relationships she has formed to support the communities of Hartlepool.
As a brief overview, Superintendent Wilson has worked within Investigations as a detective, Operations as a firearms commander and portfolio lead, has led on force-wide projects for change, and her most recent role (prior to the current) was as the lead for Adult Safeguarding where she worked to protect the vulnerable across Cleveland.
Superintendent Wilson is working closely with partners to progress the issues important to the communities of Hartlepool and is looking forward to building upon this as she develops her role and engages with the Hartlepool Board.
