Bio
Hartlepool is my hometown and it’s where me and my wife are raising our two children. I’ve worked in the voluntary sector for over 20 years and held several senior leadership positions, at local, regional and national levels, including Chief Operations Officer for a major regional funder. I founded and currently lead three sports-based social enterprises, Hartlepool Wadokai, North East Open and Hartlepool Sport. I’m an active international referee for Karate, a Hartlepool charity trustee and a Secondary School Governor.
I’m eager to support the Hartlepool Board, and in particular the borough’s voluntary and community sector at a strategic level to ensure joined up working relationships across Hartlepool.
