Bio: Jonathan Brash has been the MP for Hartlepool since 2024.

Prior to this his career had been in teaching, as well as being a Local Authority Councillor. Growing up in Hartlepool, he met his wife Pamela here and together they are raising their young family in the town. Throughout his career, Jonathan has dedicated himself to public service having been a trustee, now patron, of Hartlepool children’s charity, Families First North East, a governor at three Hartlepool Primary schools and one of the town’s colleges.

On the national stage, he is campaigning for new nuclear investment, council tax reform and the reindustrialisation of northern communities.
