He represents and advocates for the interests of those who are 11 to 18 years old in the town. Oliver does this at a local, regional and a national level. As part of his work, he has spoken in the House of Commons about transport issues affecting young people, helped develop ‘Canny CVs’ to support young people into employment, and he is currently supporting local consultations to ensure young people have their voices shape decisions that affect them across Hartlepool.
