Support for victims of crime and anti-social behaviour

The Victim Care and Advice Service (VCAS) offers free, confidential and independent advice and support to anyone affected by:

Crime prevention

Hartlepool Community Safety Team and Cleveland Police work with residents to:

  • provide crime prevention advice, support and practical help
  • carry out crime prevention surveys of peoples homes and businesses

During a crime prevention survey Cleveland Police will assess your property and recommend ways to improve security. In some cases, Hartlepool Community Safety Team may then install free crime prevention equipment.
