Section 46 Notices

To tackle these issues, we may issue a Section 46 Notice under the Environmental Protection Act 1990. This notice:

• explains how to use the refuse and recycling service correctly
• lists collection days and rules
• applies to misuse such as dumping waste or incorrect bin use

Failure to comply may result in a £60 Fixed Penalty Notice.
