Food Hygiene and Food Safety

The Commercial Services Team carries out inspections, provides advice and investigates complaints, to ensure that all food produced, distributed and sold in Hartlepool is safe to eat and meets national and European Standards.  The services covers both premises and food safety.

• Premises includes hygiene of both the premise and staff and pest infestation; or
• Food safety includes food poisoning, foreign bodies in food and pre-packed food labelling.
