Have your say on Community Safety Plan 2017-2020

The Safer Hartlepool Partnership’s Community Safety Plan 2017 – 2020 outlines the Partnership’s vision for maintaining and improving community safety in Hartlepool.

Following extensive consultation in 2016, the Partnership identified the following priorities;

· Reduce acquisitive crime

· Safeguard individuals and their families from domestic violence and abuse

· Reduce anti-social behaviour

· Reduce the harm caused by drug and alcohol misuse

· Support vulnerable victims and communities

Several initiatives have subsequently commenced and key activities have been undertaken to address these priorities. The biggest change has seen the creation of an integrated Community Safety Team that brings together Council Anti-Social Behaviour, Victim Support and Civil Enforcement Officers with Fire Brigade and Police officers. The new “Hartlepool Community Safety Team” is based at Hartlepool Police Station in Avenue Road.

The partnership is keen to ensure that local priorities continue to be addressed and we would be most grateful if you could spare us five minutes of your time to tell us about community safety issues near you by completing this survey.

The Survey will close on Friday the 2nd of March.
