If a person (aged 16 years or over) has received a COVID-19 vaccination overseas they can now book an appointment to speak to someone face to face to make sure that this is reflected in their NHS records,

In the UK, four coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccines are currently in use and can be added to GP records

  • Oxford/ AstraZeneca (Vaxzervria)
  • Pfizer/BioNTech ( Comirnaty)
  • Johnson & Johnson (Janssen)
  • Moderna (Spikevax)

Find out more about MHRA approval for these vaccines.

In the North East and North Cumbria, the NHS Nightingale North East is the site that they can do this, we are hoping that further sites will be available in the coming weeks .
