Crime prevention in Hartlepool

Crime prevention is a key part of the Safer Hartlepool Partnership. We work to reduce crime, build public confidence and help people feel safer in their homes and communities.

Our Victim Services Officer works with residents to:

  • provide advice and support
  • help prevent crime
  • carry out personal home safety visits

During a home visit, we assess your property and recommend ways to improve security. In some cases, we may install crime prevention equipment.
