The strategy outlines Hartlepool Borough Council’s plans to engage with residents over the next three years, ensuring as many local people as possible have an active role in influencing decisions that will shape the future of Hartlepool.

Additional comments received will be considered prior to the final proposed strategy going forward to Full Council for approval in the spring.

Councillor Christopher Akers-Belcher, Chair of Hartlepool Council’s Finance and Policy Committee and Leader of the Council said: “We are now at the final stage of this consultation and would encourage any Hartlepool residents who may not yet have contributed to have their say.

“It is vital that we hear as many local voices and opinions as possible to ensure the final strategy document reflects the needs and priorities of people in our town.”

Residents can read through key findings from the previous consultation period, download the final draft strategy and complete the survey by visiting www.hartlepool.gov.uk/community-engagement-strategy before the deadline of Friday 26 January 2018
