An appeal has been made to try to trace any surviving relatives of a woman who has died in Hartlepool.

Mrs Elizabeth Dalziel MacArthur (nee Stewart) of Hartfields – who was born on 2nd June 1953 - passed away aged 67 on 12th September.

Louise Gillis, Hartlepool Borough Council’s User Property and Finance Officer, said: “We are very keen to trace Mrs MacArthur’s surviving relatives at this sad time.

“Unfortunately the details which we have are very limited but we understand that before coming to Hartlepool about 20 years ago, Mrs MacArthur had at one time lived in Greengairs in North Lanarkshire, Scotland. She also had a sister in Scotland called Sheena.

“We would be very grateful if any members of Mrs MacArthur’s family could please get in touch with us.”
