Businesses across Hartlepool are being invited to have their say on key issues affecting them by taking part in an annual survey.
Led by Hartlepool Borough Council’s Economic Growth Team, the Hartlepool Annual Business Survey 2026 is designed to provide valuable insight into the current economic climate and the challenges and opportunities facing businesses across the borough.
Open to businesses of all sizes and from all sectors, it is a chance for them to share their views on the local economy, future plans, and any barriers impacting their development.
The survey is quick and easy to complete, taking just a few minutes, and it represents an invaluable opportunity for businesses to influence decision-making and ensure that support is aligned with real business needs.
It highlights the Council’s relentless focus on supporting local businesses—not only directly through the Economic Growth Team, but also through collaboration with a wide range of regional partners.
Feedback from the survey will play a key role in shaping the Council’s ongoing support and future initiatives.
Gemma Ptak, Hartlepool Borough Council’s Director of Housing, Growth and Communities, said: “We want to hear directly from our business community to better understand the challenges faced and the opportunities ahead.
“The Annual Business Survey is a vital tool in helping us shape the support we offer and ensure it reflects the real needs of local enterprises. I would encourage businesses of all sizes to take a few minutes to complete the survey and play a key role in strengthening Hartlepool’s economy.”
