Councillor Jim Lindridge, Chair of Hartlepool Borough Council's Children's Services Committee, issued the following statement this morning:
“Today is an important milestone for many young people across Hartlepool, and I would like to congratulate everyone receiving their AS, A Level, T Level, vocational, technical and other post-16 qualification results.
“This is the culmination of a lot of hard work and commitment. Whatever your results, I hope you feel proud of what you have achieved and excited about what comes next, whether that is university, further education, an apprenticeship, employment or another pathway.
“Well done to you all and best wishes for the next chapter of your journey.
“I would also like to recognise the important contribution made by Hartlepool’s sixth forms and further education colleges, as well as parents, guardians and families, whose encouragement, guidance and support have helped young people reach this milestone and achieve today’s results.”
