Celebrate World Mental Health DayPublished Friday, 6th October 2017
RESIDENTS of Hartlepool are being invited to take part in a special free event to mark World Mental Health Day.
A Strictly Mental Health 2 social dance is being organised by the Hartlepool Mental Health Forum in association with Hartlepool Council’s Sport and Physical Activity Team.
It is to be held at The Borough Hall on the Headland on Tuesday (October 10) from 11am-4pm and follows a similar event last year which proved a huge success.
The overall theme of the day is “healthy minds and healthy bodies” and as well as the social dance and a choir performance there will be opportunities for people to chat with staff and volunteers from mental health support services operating in the town.
Free soup and a bun, tea and coffee will also be on offer.
More information is available from the Council’s Sport and Physical Activity Team on (01429) 284050 or firstname.lastname@example.org
