Infrastructure Funding Statement (IFS)

As a local authority that receives developer contributions, we are required to publish an Infrastructure Funding Statement (IFS) each year.

This requirement is set out in the Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) Regulations 2019, which came into force on 1 September 2019. The IFS provides a summary of:

  • contributions received through Section 106 agreements and, if applicable, the Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL)
  • how these contributions are spent
  • the types of infrastructure and projects they help deliver

The IFS must be published by 31 December each year, covering the previous financial year. The information included in the report will be updated annually and published below:
