We receive requests for traffic calming measures such as:
- speed humps
- build-outs
- pedestrian islands
These requests are added to our Local Safety Scheme list. Roads with the worst accident records are prioritised for the available road safety funding.
Any proposals would need to be both acceptable to the local community and appropriate to the road conditions.
