New developments
If you're developing a new site and need street names or property numbers, you must submit:
- a site plan showing the proposed new roads and buildings with/without the suggested names for the development
We will consult with Royal Mail and the emergency services before approving any names or numbers. Final approval is given by us.
Renaming or renumbering existing properties
We only consider renaming or renumbering existing streets or buildings when changes cause—or are likely to cause—problems for residents, Royal Mail, or emergency services.
