Welfare support

Welfare support (also known as Local Welfare Assistance) is a fund provided by us. It helps people settle into the community, especially those who are:

  • leaving supported accommodation
  • affected by domestic abuse
  • facing complex situations and needing help to set up home

They can help you:

  • make a plan to overcome challenges
  • find and connect with local groups and activities
  • access services that can support you

You can speak to a Community Navigator at the Support Hub, Community Hub Central, York Road, TS26 9DE, Monday to Friday, 10am to 4pm.

Free clothing support

Hartlepool ReLoved Clothing offers free school uniforms and other clothes.

Visit them on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10am to 2pm at Greenbank, Waldon Street, TS24 7QT.
