What can I access with library membership?
When you sign up to become a Hartlepool library member you receive access to library services and a range of community hub services across our seven locations.
Within the library you can access:

| Under 13 | Up to 6 children's books for a period of three weeks |
| 13 to 16 years | Up to 10 items including non-fiction, teenage and children's fiction for a period of three weeks |
| 17 years and over | Up to 10 items including all non-fiction, all fiction and audiobooks for a period of three weeks |
| Groups and registered childminders | If you run a special group - for example a playgroup - or if you are a registered childminder, you are entitled to a deposit collection allowing up to 20 books for an extended loan period. |
