Christmas and New Year opening times 2025/26
Some of our council services will not operate as usual from 5pm on Wednesday 24th December due to Christmas closures. Services will reopen and operate as normal from Monday 5th January.

Christmas Tree collections
You can dispose of your real Christmas tree at the Household Waste Recycling Centre free of Charge. Christmas trees will be accepted from Saturday 27th December. Alternatively, we are offering a collection servicefor real trees from Tuesday 6th January. Residents wishing to use this service must book in for the collection to take place.

You must ensure that all decorations are removed prior to disposal. The collection service has a limited number of slots, which are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
