NDORS - safe and considerate driving course

Safe and considerate driving course

The safe and considerate driving course is offered as an alternative to prosecution for drivers involved in a road traffic incident where the police determine that the driver may have been driving without due care and attention or without reasonable consideration for other road users.

Who can attend?

Drivers may be offered this course instead of having their case referred to the Crown Prosecution Service, where they could face a fine and penalty points on their licence.

Course details

  • fee: £171 -  fees may vary in other areas
  • duration: Full day (9am to 4pm)

  • if you attend and complete the course successfully, no further action will be taken for that incident.
  • your completion will be recorded on a national database.
