Processing your claim
Your claim for free school meals will be processed as soon as possible after receiving a valid application.
On receipt of your application, we will run your information through the Eligibility Checking Service which will confirm any eligibility for free school meals.
Notification will be sent to you in the post. We will also let your child’s school know.
You should inform us of changes in your circumstances such as:
- if you change your address
- if your child changes school
- if your child moves address and is no longer living with you
