In exceptional circumstances where staff are subject to harassment which causes alarm and/or distress the Council will pursue such action that is commensurate and proportionate to the behaviour occasioning such alarm and/or distress through the initiation of a criminal prosecution or civil proceedings in order to address such behaviour. This is further detailed in our Employee Safety and Wellbeing Policy.
