Emerging Tees Valley Joint Minerals and Waste Plan
Minerals and waste planning
The five Tees Valley local authorities are embarking upon jointly preparing a minerals and waste plan. The emerging plan is intended to replace the existing minerals and waste core strategy and policies and sites development plan document (DPD) that were adopted on 15 September 2011.
The plan will set out planning policies and site allocations for minerals and waste developments across the five local authority areas, but excluding the area within the North Yorkshire Moors National Park.
