About Democratic Services
The Democratic Services Team provides administrative and professional support for council decision-making, including servicing Council, Cabinet and other committees, advising on decision-making routes and publication of decisions and minutes.
The team is the main source of advice for officers and Councillors on constitutional matters.
The Democratic Services Team are also responsible for a variety of other areas relating to member support and decision-making including representation on outside bodies and member's interests.
