Estates Management
The Asset and Estates Management Section is responsible for all aspects of the Councils Property. The section provides a full range of professional services including:
- Acquire and dispose of property as required by the Councils accommodation requirements
- Asset valuations for audit and statutory purposes
- Facilitate the removal of animals grazing illegally on Council owned land
- Negotiate terms for leases relating to council owned and leased in property
- Valuations in connection with compulsory purchase orders and compensations claims
- Ratings appeals
- Management of the non operational property portfolio
- Implementation of the Corporate Asset Management Plan
- Management of the Corporate Database
- Relocate service departments to maximise the Councils accommodation
- General advice to other council departments/services
