Tender for Fixtures, Fittings and Equipment - Poolside Equipment - for Highlight

The existing Mill House Leisure Centre has reached the end of its effective life and is in need of replacement. This presented the opportunity for a new active wellbeing hub - Highlight - to be more strategically located to become a must-visit destination and a community venue offering a range of opportunities and activities. 

This tender is for a range of poolside fixtures, fittings and equipment to furnish the new facility.

Tender for the Provision of Extra Care Services

Hartfields Extra Care Housing Scheme was developed in partnership with Hartlepool Borough Council and offers 242 units of extra care accommodation. The scheme is mixed tenure meaning some properties are social rent, some are outright purchase and other are part purchase.

The Agreement for the provision of the services outlined below will commence on 22nd May 2025 for a period of 5 years with options to extend for a further 2 x 12 months. 

The successful provider will be required to enter into a Partnership Agreement with Joseph Rowntree Housing Trust who is the landlord/housing support provider at Hartfields. They will also be expected to enter into sub-contracting arrangements with JRHT for the provision of out of hours support as detailed below. The value of the sub-contracting arrangements is available on request. The subcontracting arrangements are a fundamental part of this Service and are not negotiable. 

The care and support provider will be required to provide planned care and support to anyone assessed by the Council as requiring support. Over the last 6 months the average number of hours of care and support provided was 875 hours per week. This depends on the needs of individual residents in the scheme and may fluctuate as peoples needs change and people move into and out of Hartfields.

Invitation for Evaluation Consultancy Support

Hartlepool Borough Council seeks an experienced and qualified Evaluation Consultant to assess and measure the impact of the Tides of Change: Revitalising the Museum of Hartlepool and PS Wingfield Castle project.

Tides of Change is made possible with The National Lottery Heritage Fund. Thanks to National Lottery players, we have been able to secure Development funding to redevelop the Museum of Hartlepool and re-open the PS Wingfield Castle as part of Hartlepool’s broader regeneration of the Waterfront.

Tender Opportunity: Activity Planning Support for the Museum of Hartlepool’s Tides of Change Project 

Hartlepool Borough Council seeks an experienced Activity Planner to develop, pilot and revise our activity plan as part of our Tides of Change Project through Development and Delivery phases of our National Heritage Lottery Funded project.

Tides of Change is made possible with The National Lottery Heritage Fund. Thanks to National Lottery players, we have been able to secure Development funding to redevelop the Museum of Hartlepool and re-open the PS Wingfield Castle.

The Activity Planner will test, revise and shape an update Activity Plan for our Delivery Phase application to the National Heritage Lottery Fund, scheduled for submission in November 2025. Subject to funded, they will then undertake a three year watching brief on the project activities to March 2029.

The Museum of Hartlepool, along with the historic paddle steamer PS Wingfield Castle, is set to undergo a major revitalization, supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund. This ambitious project is poised to create an inclusive, accessible, and sustainable cultural experience that celebrates Hartlepool's maritime and industrial heritage.

Invitation for Project Management and Cost Consultancy Services for the Museum of Hartlepool's Tides of Change Project 

Hartlepool Borough Council is seeking experienced Project Management and Cost Consultancy services for the Tides of Change project. Tides of Change is made possible with The National Lottery Heritage Fund. Thanks to National Lottery players, we have been able to secure Development funding to redevelop the Museum of Hartlepool and re-open the PS Wingfield Castle to aims to preserve and transform these important heritage assets into accessible, sustainable, and community-focused spaces.

The appointed company or team will lead on managing the project through to end of RIBA 3 and assist the bid coordinator in managing the project’s Development Phase (RIBA 3) through to the Round 2 delivery application, ensuring that the Museum of Hartlepool and the PS Wingfield Castle become integral parts of the town's cultural heritage and regeneration plans.

Tender for the Provision of Services to People with a Visual Impairment

Hartlepool Borough Council is seeking submissions from suitably experienced organisations to provide services for people with a visual impairment.

The aim of the service is to support people with a visual impairment to meet their individual outcomes around wellbeing and independence. There is also a requirement for the service to support Hartlepool’s adult population with specialist vision assessments and deliver vision rehabilitation.

Select List for Independent Investigating Officer for Complaints relating to Adult’s Social Care Services

Hartlepool Borough Council are seeking submissions from appropriately qualified and experienced professionals for the provision of Independent Investigating Officers. Those who successfully complete and pass the application documentation requirements will be added to a dedicated provider list.
