Hartlepool Community Safety Team

Hartlepool Community Safety Team logo

Hartlepool Community Safety Team was launched in February 2018 by bringing together community safety staff from Hartlepool Borough Council, Cleveland Police, Cleveland Fire Brigade, and Cleveland Victim Care and Advice Service who were co-located at Hartlepool Police Station.

The team aims to improve information sharing and joint working, and ensures that Hartlepool communities benefit from a co-ordinated approach to tackling community safety issues.

The team operates using a proactive and problem solving approach model where resources are primarily targeted at anti-social behaviour and community safety issues identified by the team with the highest threat, harm, risk, vulnerability, and impact on both individuals and communities.
