What is the event?
The Festival of
Learning continues and builds on a 25 year history of Adult Learners’ Weeks. Its two core aims are to celebrate
learning and engage
more adults in learning.
Festival of
Learning Awards are a central part of this, showcasing the wide-ranging impacts
learning has on individuals, families, communities and employers.
Our 2016 Festival of Learning Awards evening was a great success with learners
being nominated from a range of organisations. Award winners included students
from Hartlepool Adult Education, Hartlepool College of Further Education and
employees of local businesses.
This
year the event will be a joint celebration with Hartlepool Youth Employment
Initiative with the main sponsor being Hartlepool Adult Education.
Award categories
Adult Learner (age 26 plus)
Young Adult Learner (age 18-25 years)
Learning for Work Individual Award
Innovative Learning Project / Group Award
(N.B. Hartlepool YEI delivery partners will be notified separately with information of the individual YEI awards and paperwork)
How do I nominate?
Any Hartlepool based organisation can nominate a learner by using the guidance and nomination forms provided:

The deadline for nominations is 4pm on 13 September 2017.
