Voluntary and Community Sector Team

The team, which is part of the Learning and Skills Service provides expert support services to voluntary and community organisations and social enterprises to develop and maximise their potential in Hartlepool. They are the single point of contact within the Council for all VCS support services.

The VCS team offer the following support to VCS organisations and social enterprises:

• Capacity building appropriate to the needs of the sector
• Fundraising assistance
• Provision of comprehensive training and workforce development
• Provision of knowledge and information around public sector commissioning
• An opportunity to be part of a network encouraging greater collaboration between all sectors

The team can provide information to the VCS on funding sources, training, governance, volunteering opportunities, access to networking events and a chance to share details of any new initiatives/ projects you may be involved with.
