Filling the Holiday Gap
The Council is inviting local organisations to apply for grants to help ensure local children don’t go hungry during the school summer holidays.
A total of £25,000 is available to help statutory, voluntary, community and charitable organisations provide food to young people as part of their summer activity programmes.
The deadline for applications is midday on Friday 5th July. The maximum amount any single organisation can bid for is £2,500 and bids should equate to no more than £3 per day or per meal, per child.
