The Tall Ships Races Hartlepool 2023 - Parking

Headland (including Marine Point) parking

From 6th July to 9th July a Permit Parking Zone will be implemented across the whole of the Headland area, including Marine Point. The zone has been put in place to stop an influx of vehicles causing problems for residents and businesses. A checkpoint system will be in operation with entry only gained on display of a permit or by prior arrangement.

Resident and business parking permit

Residents and those who work on the Headland can apply for permits which will be issued free of charge.

To apply you will need to provide;

  • Proof of address
  • Proof of vehicle ownership
  • For those who work on the Headland - proof of employment.

Apply for a permit online. Alternately, you can visit Hartlepool Civic Centre, Victoria Road, Hartlepool, TS24 8AY to provide your information.

Visitors for those who require access to the Headland and Marine Point during the event

Free short term permits are available to allow the public to carry out normal activities such as visiting a relative, going to the gym or attending the doctor's surgery. Apply for a short term permit online.
