Leisure Services

Hartlepool Sport and Physical Activity Team are a team of experienced officers and sports coaches who aim to increase participation in high quality sport and physical activity for all ages and abilities.  Coaches are available to support delivery of after school provision, PPA time and other activities and events as required. All coaches are fully qualified Level 1 and/or Level 2 coaches and work towards Sports Coach UK minimum standards of redeployment including training in Safeguarding and Protecting Children, enhanced DBS Disclosure and recruited using safer recruitment procedures.

The Sport and Physical Activity Team have Quest Accreditation and offer targeted and bespoke services to schools and other partners.
