Hartlepool Holiday Fun
A summer of FUN!
There’ll once again be lots of fantastic activities for eligible school-aged children and young people in Hartlepool over the summer school holidays – and they’re all free for eligible children!
It’s all part of Hartlepool Holiday Fun – a project run by Hartlepool Borough Council in partnership with different organisations across the town and funded by the Department for Education under its Holiday Activities and Food programme – providing activities for children and young people over the main school holidays throughout the year.
As well as having a great time, they also get a tasty and nutritious meal into the bargain.
Forest school activities, Pokemon clubs, swimming, multi-sports, art workshops, boxing and mindfulness sessions are just some of the activities which will be on offer.
Under the terms of the Government funding, the programme is open to children who receive benefits-related free school meals and some additional children as identified by schools. There will also be a small number of subsidised, payable spaces available for non-eligible children. These will be advertised and bookable directly via the activity providers. .
All parents/carers whose children are eligible to take part will be sent a voucher by email or text, which will enable them to register and book places for the activities – if you haven’t been sent a voucher by 26th June please email HAF@hartlepool.gov.uk
