AUDIENCES in Hartlepool won’t want to miss the chance to enjoy the final magic ever conceived by magician Paul Daniels in a brand new family musical.

The charming musical escapade ‘Don’t Dribble on the Dragon’, which comes to Hartlepool on Sunday 22 October at 2.30pm, is the feelgood story of two young brothers, Jack and Tom, and the special relationship they share bound together by a magical dragon.

Hartlepool children and adults alike won’t want to miss this magical musical extravaganza!

Based on the book by Steven Lee and performed by the cast of the “People’s Theatre Company”, this show highlights the importance of family and growing up, with a wonderful mix of fun and catchy sing-along songs - and Daniels’ jaw-dropping illusions.

Jamie Kelly, Hartlepool Borough Council’s Cultural Officer (Theatre Development) said: “Don’t Dribble on the Dragon is one of a series of enchanting and exciting productions taking centre stage at Hartlepool Town Hall Theatre over the coming months.

“In this show, nothing is as it seems...lights will appear from thin air, a supernatural sponge cake will take on a life of its own and flying footballs will defy the laws of gravity.

“Adults and children alike will thoroughly enjoy this spectacular show that is truly like no other.”

For an extra treat, at the end of the show author Steven Lee and the cast will be available to sign copies of ‘Don’t Dribble on the Dragon’. These can be brought to the show or purchased at the theatre (priced £5.99), from Amazon and all good bookshops.
