Promoting business growth

Small businesses are being invited to attend a special event in Hartlepool and find out more about how they can increase sales and become more profitable.

A “Business Breakfast” is to be held at the Tees and Hartlepool Yacht Club in West Harbour, Hartlepool, on Thursday (November 23) from 8.30-10.30am.

The Achieving Ambition and Growth event is being organised by Hartlepool Borough Council in partnership with Innovate Tees Valley, a service part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) that provides support to growth-oriented Tees Valley businesses employing fewer than 250 staff and with a turnover of no more than 50 million Euros.

Councillor Kevin Cranney, Chair of Hartlepool Borough Council’s Regeneration Services Committee, said: “It is a chance for companies to come along and get an introduction to the support available to help them take their business ideas forward, overcome growth barriers and seek success both here and overseas.

“Innovate Tees Valley has been established to help Teesside’s vibrant small business community achieve ambition and growth via service and product innovation. Be it product, process or service, it can help businesses accelerate from idea to growth.”

Delegates who attend the event will hear from two successful Hartlepool businesses, Publicity Seekers and Pulse Technologies, which have both received support from Innovate Tees Valley.
