Employment workshops could be just the ticket
Published Monday, 15th January 2018PEOPLE can get valuable tips to help them get a foot on the jobs ladder at some free employment workshops in Hartlepool.
Organised by the National Careers Service, they are being hosted by Community Hub Central in York Road. Each session lasts two hours and covers a specific topic, as follows:
Monday 22 January 10am-12 noon - The construction sector
Monday 19 February 10am–12 noon - Parents returning to work
Monday 12 March 10am-12 noon - Preparing for employment
Library Officer Jackie Johnson said: “These workshops will give people advice on how to prepare for the world of work.
“We’ll be helping people understand what employers are looking for and we’ll be looking at how they can strengthen their employability skills and identify and promote their strengths and achievements when applying for jobs.”
