Open a new chapter with junior reading group

YOUNG booklovers in Hartlepool who are looking for something to do on a Saturday morning now have the ideal choice.

A new Junior Reading Group for ages 7-12 meets at Community Hub Central in York Road every three weeks on a Saturday from 10.30am to 11.30am.

The next meeting is on 17 March, followed by 14 April, 5 May, 26 May and 16 June.

Sharon Iddon, Library Officer, says: “This is a great opportunity for youngsters to come along and talk about what they enjoy reading, take part in fun activities linked to new authors and books and choose new titles to take home and read. It’s also a chance to make some new friends.”
