Cafe to let at country park

HARTLEPOOL Borough Council is seeking to let the kitchen and cafe area at Summerhill Country Park by informal tender.

The area in question is housed within the 100-acre site’s Visitor Centre.

The closing date for tenders to be received is 12 noon on April 27 2018.

Tenders should be submitted via the North East Procurement Organisation’s (NEPO) secure online tendering system at https://procontract.due-north.com/Home/About Paper tenders will not be accepted.

This is an exciting opportunity to lease a well equipped kitchen and cafe area as well as an additional external seating area.

Summerhill has miles of woodland footpaths and cycle tracks that are popular with visitors, and it hosts organised events on a regular basis

The property is to be let on a new 12-month lease.

The accommodation includes:

  • A cafe seating area of approximately 38 sq metres.
  • A servery area with two level wood-topped counter and a hatch to the kitchen.
  • A kitchen/servery of approximately 19 sq. metres which includes a double stainless steel sink unit, a stainless steel wash hand basin, stainless steel worktop and shelving, double glazed windows with external roller shutters and hatches to the Visitor Centre’s activity room and servery area.
