Mayor of Hartlepool welcomes all to Civic Service

Hartlepool people of all ages are invited to attend the Ceremonial Mayor of Hartlepool’s Civic Service which will celebrate community and civic life in the borough.

The annual Civic Service will take place at All Saints’ Church, Stranton, on Sunday 4 November at 6:00pm, following which light refreshments will be served.

The Ceremonial Mayor of Hartlepool – Councillor Allan Barclay’s – chosen good causes during his year in office are The Royal British Legion’s Poppy Appeal and Hartlepool Armed Forces Liaison Group. The two organisations will be taking part in the service and will provide a brief insight into their work.

Hartlepool Mayor, Councillor Allan Barclay, said: “I look forward to extending a very warm invitation to people of all ages at the service.

“I’m looking forward to seeing as many people as possible and I’m particularly grateful to All Saints’ Church for hosting the service.”
