People are invited to celebrate the festive season with the Ceremonial Mayor of Hartlepool at his Civic Carol Service next week.

It’s on Wednesday 12 December 2018 at All Saints’ Church, Stranton, at 6:00pm.

The service will be led by the Reverend Norman Shave – the Civic Chaplain and vicar of All Saints’ Church – and there will be musical accompaniment from the English Martyrs School and Sixth Form College Choir.

There will be several readings and the prayers of intercession will be led by the Reverend Shave.

The collection at the end of the service will be in aid of the Mayor’s two chosen causes – The Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal and Hartlepool Armed Forces Liaison Group.

Councillor Allan Barclay, the Ceremonial Mayor of Hartlepool, said: “I would like to extend a very warm welcome to everyone to join me at this very special event.

“It is a great way for people of the town to come together and celebrate the festive season.

“I’m looking forward to seeing as many people as possible at the service and would particularly like to thank the Reverend Norman Shave and the congregation at All Saints’ for allowing us to host the event there.”
