Are you coming to Economic Regeneration and Tourism Forum?

A meeting of the Hartlepool Economic Regeneration and Tourism Forum will take place next week and companies from across the town are invited to attend.

The breakfast event is to be held on Thursday January 17th from 8.15am at Hartlepool College of Further Education.

The forum, a refreshed version of the former Hartlepool Economic Regeneration Forum, meets four times a year and is open to all businesses - whatever their size - and other stakeholders.

Next week’s event will highlight the success of two local companies – J&B Recycling Limited and Camerons Brewery Ltd – who have continued to invest in and grow their businesses despite challenging markets.

Vikki Jackson-Smith, Managing Director of J&B Recycling Limited, and Chris Soley, Director and General Manager of Camerons Brewery Ltd, will both speak at the event.

Councillor Kevin Cranney, Chair of Hartlepool Borough Council’s Regeneration Services Committee, said: “Both of these companies are real Hartlepool success stories and I am delighted that they are going to be taking the lead for this meeting.

“I would encourage businesses from across the town to attend the meeting, listen to what Vikki Jackson-Smith and Chris Soley have to say and take the chance to benefit from some networking with representatives of other local companies.”

Anyone wishing to attend the meetings is asked to confirm their attendance by emailing hartlepooleconomicforum@hartlepool.gov.uk or telephoning 01429 867677 by January 10th.
