Half term library fun for children

A War Horse craft session, making a garden bird feeder and stories and rhymes sessions are among the activities lined up by Hartlepool’s libraries to keep youngsters happy over the half term holidays.

All the events are free except where indicated and some must be booked in advance by contacting the relevant library. Children under eight must be accompanied by an adult.

Monday 18 February       -           Stories and Rhymes for the under fives – Who’s Hiding In The Jungle?, 10.30am-11.30am.

Tuesday 19 February      -           Parent and toddler session for the under fives, including refreshments for parents and children, 10.30am-11.30am. £2.50 per child.

Tuesday 19 February      -           Stories and Rhymes for the under fives – Twit-To-Who, 1.30pm-2.30pm.

Wednesday 20 February -          Drop-in animal-themed activity morning – join in any time during the session. For children of any age. 10am-11.30am. £2 per child.

Wednesday 20 February -          Baby Babble for the under twos, 1.30pm-2.30pm.

Thursday 21 February     -           Stories and Rhymes for the under fives – Super Worm, 10.30am-11.30am

Friday 22 February          -           Half term story time for children aged 4-10, 11.30am-12 noon.
