Don't miss big opportunities at Big Event

Young people aged 15 to 29 looking to move into employment, education or training shouldn’t miss a “Big Event” next week.

Organised by the Youth Employment Initiative’s Pathways and Routeways Programmes, the Big Event will be held on Wednesday 10th July between 11am and 3pm at Teesside University (Campus Heart, Middlesbrough).

Visitors will have the chance to speak to specialist advisors from 22 organisations from across the Tees Valley and find out more about the wide range of support, advice and information available.

Exciting activities and stalls will also be on offer. Middlesbrough Football Club will be hosting activities on the day alongside officers from Cleveland Fire Authority, who will be highlighting what life is like in the Emergency Services.

To date, the Tees Valley Pathways and Routeways programmes have engaged with 6,774 young people across the Tees Valley, supporting 3,120 move into Education, Employment or Training.

Both projects are part-funded by the European Social Fund and supported by Hartlepool Borough Council under the Youth Employment Initiative.
