Have your say on CCTV proposals
Published Friday, 12th July 2019A drop-in event is to be held to give people a chance to find out more about a series of new CCTV cameras proposed for public spaces in Hartlepool.
It will take at Hartlepool Borough Council’s Community Hub (Central) in York Road on Wednesday July 17th from 2.30-4pm.
Representatives of the Hartlepool Community Safety Team will be in attendance.
The cameras are proposed for Seaton Park, Rossmere Park, Burn Valley Gardens and Ward Jackson Park.
Nicholas Stone, Neighbourhood Safety Team Leader with Hartlepool Borough Council, said: “The drop-in is a formal consultation event but it is also a chance for local residents to simply come along and find out more about the proposals. They will be able to have a chat with representatives of the Hartlepool Community Safety Team and ask any questions or raise any queries that they might have.”
The cameras are expected to be installed later in the year.
