Forum offers business networking opportunity

Businesses are being invited to take advantage of a networking opportunity by attending the next meeting of the Hartlepool Economic Regeneration and Tourism Forum.

The breakfast event is to be held from 8.15am on Thursday September 19th at The BIS in Whitby Street.

The forum meets four times a year and is open to all businesses - whatever their size - and other stakeholders.

In addition to the networking opportunity, the meeting will also hear about the work being carried out by Hartlepool-based Seymour (Civil Engineering Contractors) Ltd in conjunction with Hartlepool Borough Council and Hartlepool College of Further Education to develop a Civil Engineering Skills Academy on a site in Brenda Road. It is hoped the academy will help to tackle a UK-wide skills shortage in the sector.

Members of Hartlepool Totally Locally will also give a short presentation on their initiative which aims to help promote independent businesses in Hartlepool and keep local residents informed of the town’s great selection of independent shops.

Anyone wishing to attend the meeting is asked to confirm their attendance by registering via Eventbrite at https://hartlepooleconomicforum19-09-19.eventbrite.co.uk Places will be allocated on a first come- first served basis
