Christmas sales opportunity for local craftspeople

Published Friday, 4th October 2019

Local craftspeople from Hartlepool and the Tees Valley area are being offered an opportunity to sell their wares within the Hartlepool Art Gallery Christmas shop.

The team at the gallery is on the lookout for beautiful and unique gifts such as hand-crafted ceramics, stationary, homewares, jewellery and accessories for that special someone this Christmas.

“Every Christmas the shop within Hartlepool Art Gallery is transformed into a magical grotto overflowing with beautiful gifts from local artists and makers.

With so much talent in Hartlepool and the Tees Valley area, we are really looking forward to receiving submissions from new artists and seeing some stunning and original creations on our shelves this Christmas,” says Ashley Landsbury, Museum and Art Gallery Manager at Hartlepool Borough Council.

People who are interested in selling their festive wares in the gallery shop are advised to submit an expression of interest by email to Andy Scott, Cultural Information Officer at Hartlepool Art Gallery.

The expression of interest should include a short biography (200 words max), a pricing guide, product images or links to online images. Submissions are to be sent to andy.scott@hartlepool.gov.uk by Friday 25th October.
