Residents in Hartlepool are invited to ‘Unlock Your Potential’ at a careers fair of the same name in the town next week.

Organised by Hartlepool Borough Council, it’s on Friday 17 January in the Community Room in Community Hub Central (Central Library) in York Road from 1pm to 4pm.

Among the organisations taking part will be the National Careers Service, GEM Partnership, Utility Alliance, Tees Valley Routes to Work, Adult Education, Learning For Excellence, University Centre Quayside (UCQ), Volunteer Hartlepool, Tracey Jukes Beauty Training and the Hospital of God.

Councillor Christopher Akers-Belcher, Chair of the Hartlepool Borough Council’s Regeneration Services Committee, said: “The careers fair is an opportunity for people to gain impartial careers advice and find out about the training and employment opportunities on offer and it will also highlight the one-to-one support available in Hartlepool to help people into employment.”
