Businesses in Hartlepool are being offered a chance to help shape a blueprint for the future of the town.

They are being invited to give their views on Hartlepool Borough Council’s draft 2020-23 Council Plan at a breakfast meeting of the Hartlepool Economic Regeneration and Tourism Forum which will take place from 8.15am on Thursday (January 16th) at The BIS in Whitby Street.

The Council’s Chief Executive Gill Alexander will give a presentation on the plan at the meeting which is open to businesses of all sizes, and this will be followed by a group discussion to provide feedback.

She said: “The Council Plan sets out priorities for the town and how Hartlepool Borough Council will work to deliver on those priorities.

“The Council remains ambitious for the future but needs to think differently about how these ambitions are going to be achieved, so it is important that as many businesses, residents and other stakeholders as possible have a chance to give their views.”

The draft plan which was developed following an earlier consultation exercise, aims to build on the achievements of the current plan which comes to an end this year.

Businesses wishing to attend the meeting should register via Eventbrite at https://economicforum16Jan20   or by telephoning (01429) 867677 by 12 noon on January 15th. Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come-first served basis.
